WHAT IS OPTIMAS?
OPTIMAS from InMode is a non-invasive aesthetic treatment platform in Raleigh that combines laser, light, and radiofrequency technology to provide superior skin and hair removal treatments and long lasting results. OPTIMAS TREATMENTS:
FORMA – Non-invasive Thermal Facial Remodeling
Forma uses bipolar radiofrequency technology to target the deep layers of the skin for optimal skin remodeling. In a series of treatments, patients will experience improvement in the skin’s overall appearance, including smoother, tighter skin and a more radiant glow.
Forma is suitable for all skin types and may be used to treat the forehead, crows feet around the eyes, upper & lower eyelids, nasolabial folds, jowls, smile lines and neck, in addition to other areas on the body. Weekly sessions over the course of approximately 6-8 weeks (or fewer sessions with more time in between) may be recommended for optimal results. Results begin around day 30 and continue to improve up to 6 months. Forma treatments are painless and there is no downtime following treatment. Slight redness in the treatment area is common post-treatment, which subsides within a few hours. Individual results may vary.
LUMECCA – Intense Pulse Light Photofacial
Lumecca is the most powerful intense pulsed light (IPL) that uses photothermolysis to treat pigmented and vascular lesions on the face and body. In a series of 3 treatments, patients will notice significant improvements in the complexion and clarity of the skin, including the appearance of:
- Age spots (red & brown pigmentation) and hyperpigmentation
- Small vascular lesions on the face (facial telangiectasias / spider veins and poikiloderma)
- Rosacea (redness)
- Freckles
- Sun damage
Patients should avoid direct, excessive sun exposure one month prior to treatment and immediately following treatment. Redness and slight warming of the skin are normal after treatment and usually subside within hours after treatment. Within 2 days post treatment, pigmented spots may darken and fall off within a week’s time, leading to an evening of the skin tone, continuing to improve over time up to 6 months. After treating vascular lesions, the vein may blanch and disappear within a few days.
Sun damage a skin complexion results can be seen a few days after the first session, and the skin will continue to look younger and more brilliant over time, with most results after 1-2 weeks. For vascular treatments, such as facial telangiectasias, results can be seen in up to 2 weeks.
MORPHEUS8 BODY – RF Microneedling Body Remodeling
Morpheus8 is a fractional skin treatment that stimulates collagen production of the underlying layers of the dermis. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, tissues of the face and body can be remodeled to reveal a more radiant youthful appearance. Morpheus8 RF microneedling is safe for all skin types and may be used in combination with other aesthetic treatments.
Morpheus8 may be used on any areas that can benefit from resurfacing and subdermal renewal. The most commonly treated areas and issues include:
- Abdomen
- Legs, thighs, knees
- Body areas with stretch marks and scars
DIOLAZExl – Laser Hair Removal
Diolaze XL is an advanced laser hair removal procedure that safely and gently eliminates unwanted hair. DiolazeXL has one of the largest treatment spot sizes and a built in skin cooling surface, allowing for fast and comfortable treatments.
DiolazeXL reduces hair with each treatment and results are seen after 6 sessions (every 4 weeks). Most areas of the body can be treated, including the face and neck, chest, arms, under arms, legs, stomach, bikini area and more. DiolazeXL works best when hair follicles are in their mature stage and the number of treatments will differ depending on your hair color & type, body area and skin tone. Individual results may vary.
VASCULAZE – Facial and Leg Vein Resolution
The appearance of vascular lesions and veins can be unsightly and bothersome for women and men, and may become more problematic over time. Lesions may be very visible (long and bulging) or appear as spider veins (smaller, finer, shorter lines or web-like) and may appear as a result of factors including genetics, aging, pregnancy, weight gain and prolonged standing or sitting.
Vasculaze treatments at Triangle Facial Plastic Surgery can help alleviate facial and leg vein issues with a laser to treat the blood vessel causing the blemish. Vasculaze pinpoints the vein or vein network for a precise, safe, gentle and effective treatment on areas including:

Types of vascular veins that may be treated:
- Facial and spider veins
- Port wine stains
- Leg veins
- Telangiecstasis
- Angiomas
Varicose veins are typically larger and are not suitable for Vasculaze treatments.
Vasculaze treatments are quick and comfortable. 3 sessions are typically recommended, however some lesions may require more. Gradual improvements may be seen following the first treatment with the skin’s surface looking clearer as treatments progress.
