JUVÉDERM® fillers are a collection of FDA-approved hyaluronic acid injectable dermal fillers used to temporarily add or restore volume to areas of the face (including the lips, cheeks, and around the mouth) without having a surgical procedure.

Are JUVÉDERM® injections painful?
JUVÉDERM® injections are essentially painless as JUVÉDERM® contains lidocaine, a temporary numbing local anesthetic that reduces discomfort during the filler injection. For patients with heightened sensitivity, a numbing cream may also be applied to the treatment area(s) prior to treatment.
Is there any downtime with JUVÉDERM® injections?
Downtime is minimal with JUVÉDERM® injections. Very minor swelling and bruising may occur following your treatment but will subside within 2 weeks. Individual results may vary.
