What are Restylane® injections?
Restylane® injections are a collection of FDA-approved hyaluronic acid injectable fillers used to temporarily add or restore volume to various areas of the face and backs of the hands. They are minimally invasive and produce beautiful, natural-looking results.
Dr. Becker uses six different Restylane® fillers in Raleigh, NC to treat his patients. Whether you’re looking to restore fullness in areas of the face and hands due to facial aging and volume loss, or you’re looking to smooth facial wrinkles and achieve a beautifully contoured facial profile, Dr. Becker will customize a treatment plan for you.

Restylane-L® adds volume and fullness to the face, corrects moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (aka “smile lines”), tear troughs, and marionette lines. It is also injected into the lips to add fullness and definition. |

Restylane® Lyft corrects volume loss and treats wrinkles in the cheeks, mid-face area around the nose, and backs of the hands for a smoother, fuller, and more youthful-looking appearance. |

Restylane® Kysse is injected into the lips and the lines around the upper lip to add fullness to the lips and help smooth upper perioral lines (around the upper lip). It enhances the texture and color of the lips and allows for flexible movement and a full range of expression. |

Restylane® Refyne is injected into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, restoring a natural, soft look. |

Restylane® Defyne is injected into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe deep facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. It may also be injected into the chin region to augment and improve the chin profile for patients with mild to moderate chin retrusion. |

Restylane® Contour is injected into the cheek and midface areas to add volume to the cheeks and restore your natural contour while allowing you to maintain movement and facial expression. |

Are Restylane® injections painful?
Restylane® injections are essentially painless as they contain lidocaine, a temporary numbing local anesthetic that reduces discomfort during the filler injection. For patients with heightened sensitivity, a numbing cream may also be applied to the treatment area(s) prior to treatment.
Is there any downtime with Restylane® injections?
Downtime is minimal with Restylane® injections. Very minor swelling and bruising may occur following your treatment but will subside within 2 weeks. Individual results may vary.
