Join Us For a Special Cause!

Do you feel like lately the world is in desperate need of more kindness and compassion? Have you often wondered why people don’t show more respect for one another? If you are answering “yes” to these questions, then we would like to share a very special cause that is near and dear to our hearts with you.

The L.I.V.E. Like Hannah Foundation was established by Dean and Erika Viall, in memory of their daughter, Hannah, who’s passing resulted from a car accident on February 24, 2018, just a month shy of her 16th birthday. Hannah had a kind, generous and loving spirit, and a smile that would light up any room she entered. She had a special gift…a way of reaching out to many people and making everyone feel loved and accepted. Even if you didn’t know Hannah, she strived to make you laugh and feel good about yourself. She had a huge heart, practiced acceptance and had an abundance of love and compassion for everyone. If you crossed her path, you were her friend.

The L.I.V.E. Like Hannah Foundation (L-loving, I-including and V-valuing E-everyone) was created on the premise of helping people throughout the Wake Forest community, via challenging others to live more earnestly and selflessly as Hannah did. Since its inception, the foundation has provided various types of youth scholarships and outreach programs to the local community through random acts of kindness.

To learn more about the foundation and the assistance programs it provides to the community, please visit the website.

On Saturday, October 19th, the 2nd annual Wake Up and Workout For Hannah fundraiser event will take place at the Capital Sportsplex in Wake Forest. The event will kick off with a workout at 8:30am, hosted by Find A Way Fitness. The event will last until noon and will feature many auction items sponsored by local vendors (including a HydraFacial bundle, valued at $675, from Triangle Facial Plastic Surgery), along with a fun kidzone and play with the Jr. Carolina Hurricanes hockey players!

The support, donations and purchases from last year’s inaugural event made a major impact on our local community. They helped provide scholarships to 6 local graduating high school seniors totaling $21,500; began funding for a Kerr YMCA Indian Guide and Leaders Club Scholarship; contributed to random acts of kindness around the Wake Forest community; and, provided hurricane relief for Hannah’s favorite camp, along with a need based scholarship for the camp. Let’s help is amazing foundation continue to positively impact the local community, while honoring Hannah at the same time!

Our Triangle Facial Plastic Surgery team will be out there, and we hope you will join us in this very special cause. Please spread the word and share this post with your friends and visit the event page to reserve your spot for the workout.  This event will be an incredible, uplifting and inspiring experience for all! You can stay tuned on all of the up-to-date event details by visiting Hug A Day on Facebook.
